Cookie Policy
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies that are used when you visit www.metoraz.com. Similar technologies here means local storage, cookieless measurement and embedded third-party content. For general information on how we process personal data, please also see our Privacy Notice (KVKK).
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They help the site work properly, remember your preferences and measure how the site is used. They can be set by the site operator (first-party) or by another company providing a service on the site (third-party). Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser; persistent cookies stay on your device for a set period. In this policy, similar technologies such as browser local storage are also covered under “cookies”.

3. Cookie categories we use
Strictly necessary cookies and technologies. These are needed for running the site, applying your language choice, remembering your cookie choice, and protecting the contact and booking forms against automated (bot) submissions. They cannot be switched off on the site. You can block them in your browser settings, but parts of the site may then not work properly.
Analytics cookies and measurement (only with your consent). These help us understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so that we can improve it. Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Web Analytics run only after you click “Accept” on the cookie banner or switch on the analytics category under “Preferences”.
External content (only with your consent). The News page shows embedded LinkedIn posts. These are loaded from LinkedIn’s servers, and LinkedIn and the security services it uses may place their own cookies on your device. The posts load only after you consent to external content. Without consent, you can still open the posts through the link to LinkedIn.
We do not use advertising or marketing cookies.
4. Cookie table
Durations are the values we observed in a technical review of the site on 3–4 October 2026. Purpose descriptions for third-party cookies are based on the providers’ public information, and providers may change these cookies without notice.
4.1 Strictly necessary
¹ To be verified: Turnstile may use temporary data on its own domain (challenges.cloudflare.com) during verification, which could not be fully observed with browser automation.
4.2 Analytics (only with consent)
² Google’s default. Some browsers cap cookie lifetimes; in Chrome, for example, we observed about 400 days.
4.3 External content: LinkedIn posts (only with consent; News page)
³ We identified the provider from the domain name. If you are signed in to LinkedIn, LinkedIn may read or set additional cookies that are not listed here.
5. Legal basis (Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, “KVKK”)
- Strictly necessary cookies and technologies: Art. 5(2)(c) KVKK, because they are necessary to set up and provide the contact and booking service you request. Also Art. 5(2)(f), our legitimate interest in site security, applying your language choice and recording your cookie choice, provided this does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms.
- Analytics and external content: your explicit consent under Art. 5(1) KVKK. You give it by clicking “Accept” on the banner or by switching on the relevant category under “Preferences”. Refusing consent does not prevent you from using the site.
6. Transfers abroad
Some of our service providers are based outside Türkiye or process data on servers outside Türkiye:
- Google LLC (Google Analytics, reCAPTCHA)
- Cloudflare, Inc. (Turnstile)
- Vercel Inc. (hosting and Vercel Web Analytics)
- LinkedIn and the security providers it uses (external content)
In this context, your IP address, browser and device information, cookie identifiers and the pages you visit may be transferred abroad. Transfers are made under Art. 9 KVKK (as amended by Law No. 7499) on these bases:
- For analytics and external content: your explicit consent, given after you are informed of the possible risks (Art. 9(6)(a)).
- For services that are strictly necessary to run the site: appropriate safeguards, such as standard contracts notified to the Personal Data Protection Authority (Art. 9(4)). ⁴
⁴ Legal confirmation recommended before publication: that standard contracts with the providers have been signed and notified to the Authority.
7. Managing and withdrawing consent
- Cookie banner: on your first visit, the banner gives you Accept, Reject and Preferences with equal prominence.
- Cookie preferences link: the “Cookie preferences” link in the site footer reopens the cookie consent banner. There you can change or withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal applies from then on, and analytics and external content are no longer loaded.
- Browser settings: you can view, delete or block cookies in your browser’s privacy or cookie settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge and others). This is also how you delete any
_gaand_ga_CMM259CCZHcookies that were already set. Clearing site data also removes the preference record in local storage. - Google Analytics: you can opt out of Google Analytics on all websites with Google’s browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
8. Your rights
You can exercise your rights under Art. 11 KVKK, such as access, rectification, erasure and objection, by writing to info@metoraz.com. We answer applications within 30 days at the latest, in line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller. See the Privacy Notice for details.
